I prefer use of Librewolf which is in the Flathub, but which is not workable with it. Perhaps there is some need for this browser to be modified for it to work in the Furi OS setting to any successful extent or maybe only failed to operate in some glitch of my device's unique attempt for its deployment. Does anybody know whether Librewolf can be utilized in the current software setting created by the Furi FLX-1?
I have been using the LibreWolf for some time now thru the Furi software store, since 13.0.8 or maybe even 13.0.7, as I do really prefer, so I kept trying upon each upgrade.
There is the issue for me where it does not always load, instead get a blank screen showing just wallpaper.
Sometimes I need try a few times and then it will start proper. Not nearly as dramatic as sounds, as you know quickly whether it fails or not, swipe up & try again. For me, it is actually quite fine, though certainly & understandably may not be acceptable scenario to all.
Off top my head, say it seems start proper straight away about 60-70% time.
Once started it is very solid, haven't any crashes or issues I can recall. I add just one theme for easier view, and I set in Compositor to scale, and while a bit small perhaps, for me it very enjoyable to use. My LibreWolf friend and i can use less android apps, which now just there for backup and remain off for most part.
Also, found if disable "Performance" options under General settings, have no longer flicker issues.
It keeps up to date, 137.0.2-1 as we speak, 🙂
Anyway, hopefully it continues improve as its my personal fav, the initial opening caveat is really only issue I personally have seen, and maybe even earlier versions worked with same caveat and I didn't try further(?)
