hello, I am using the Android app Thunderbird as my email client. I received an email with an attachment and I was able to save it to files within the File app inside Android. However, I'm unable to find the attachment through my Portfolio app. According to the Android files app, the attachment was saved to "content://com.android.externalStorage..." but I can't find where that is located within the Furios directory structure.
Or /home/furios/.local/share/andromeda/data/media/0/
The sad thing is, that furios user can't easily access those files via file manager. The access rights are for android user? I don't know it exactly but one should not change the permissions, otherwise andromeda could break.
@hamsterbacke yes it is an obvious usability feature that is missing and hopefully will be fixed soon. furios does a good job of blurring the line between native and android apps in the launcher but separate file systems with root access required is annoying.
Related to my statement about the launcher I would really like to have something to distinguish between apps, either a badge or color or circle that is different or separate them into tabs.
My FLX1 was bricked and I managed to copy /home using recovery mode + ssh + scp. So looking at the answers above, I hope restoring /home will restore my andromeda data as well.
I was not able to restore andromeda by restoring .local/share/andromeda backup (I fixed permission issues by assigning same permissions on a fresh install), it was stuck in the boot loop, it shows phone booting screen of android but never able to complete it.
