I updated today, and played around. Android seemed much more stable so I decided to start migrating to the FLX1 as a daily driver.
I got everything set up and enabled Full Disk Encryption in the gnome settings. Upon reboot, android apps do not work. Normally not a big deal, but my 2FA app is android which I now cannot access.
Whew, was able to create a backup from FreeOTP and migrate it out through the shared folder. I should be able to migrate that into a new instance on another phone if it happens again.
Its my own fault, I did it. Just a word of caution for others.
Huh no idea what happened. I tried multiple reboots and start/stopping the android container with no luck....but for some reason it is now working. Thank goodness as I only had recovery codes for one of the 3 2FA accounts.
I would still recommend against enabling it at this point
@sword Hi. FDE is completely independent from Android. they work differently and do not interfere. If you are able to reproduce it again please provide us some logs. On my device I do all Android development and I have FDE enabled without any issues (and I am sure many others too).
