has anybody gotten the Chromium flatpak successfully installed?

Question

if I install & attempt to launch Chromium from the software app, I get an error message on startup having something to do with debian not allowing sufficient non-root container permissions; or something like that.

Has anybody gotten around this successfully? I tried following a guide I found somewhere online (not for a phone-specific variant of debian), but couldn't get the flatpak to start (I have sense reverted the changes I tried to make to the system and have been using Firefox exclusively).
