Similar to my earlier reported data connection problem with Telenet Belgium - which was solved by @fakeshell (Thank you!) - I have the same data connection issue with another Beglian provider: Neibo.
The Neibo SIM works for sending and receiving calls and SMS, but does not establish a data connection.
As before, when switching on mobile data, the connection is dropped within 10 seconds.
The Neibo SIM connects at 4G (unlike the Telenet SIM which initially connected at 2G only).
The Neibo SIM does provide 4G and (intermittent) 5G data connection in Android phones right away.
I already tried changing the APN to the one recommended one (mworld.be/no user/no password) on their support site, but to no avail.
Instructions from Neibo or from Orange Belgium recommend APN mworld.be. I did edit the APN in Settings with mworld.be. But whatever I write in settings, nmcli --modem=0 says initial bearer apn: web.pro.be. What should I do to actually connect mworld.be.
Trying to understand I am surprised by: "initial bearer path: /org/freedesktop/ModemManager1/Bearer/0". This is not a file path, but not a Dconf path either. The command "gsettings list-schemas" gives nothing like ModemManager.
@fakeshell I do not know whether this is of any consequence but Neibo Belgium does not have its own mobile network but utilizes the mobile network of Orange Belgium. Thus, the setup in principle should work for customers of Orange Belgium as well. APN is the same for both (it is the APN of the Orange network).
I am just wondering whether the FLX1s will automatically pick the Neibo settings for Orange subscriptions or whether there need to be separate ones.
