I've activated a SIM card on Tello, a T-Mobile MVNO. At this point, the phone app doesn't detect it. I can't call out or call in. "No modem or VoIP account available". What's the next step on the phone? I have a FLX1s.
The Mobile Network settings indicates "No WWAN Adapter Found", then disappears from the Settings. I'm pretty sure the card is mounted properly. The micro SD card is mounted, and the system rebooted at one point in the process. I assume this was part of the process. I can't find anything about this in the documentation. Am I missing something?
Tello suggests enabling VoLTE and checking the access point names. I assume these are normally in the mobile network settings. Is there a command to check these?
Do you see any modem icons on the top bar? Like 2G, 3G, 4G? Signal strenght?
If the sim is there and nothing is visible you could try after boot is done in terminal: systemctl restart ofono
btw - it should work flawles from the beginning without your interaction. How ever sometimes there is something unexpected. You could also join the Telegram group (also bridged to matrix) and ask there. The link is on the bottom of furilabs.com
@alaraajavamma WiFi and bluetooth. Nothing else in the bar. I tried restarting ofono a couple of times, and it timed out. It stopped cleanly, but timed out again on start.
@alaraajavamma I tried to install a card from Tracfone at one point. Could that have corrupted something? I started noticing erratic behavior by Mobile Network in the Settings after that.
i just activated a new tmobile sim. services worked for 2 minutes then stoped. i have trouble shot the switch for modem and also the settings and apn settings seem on but cant get tmobile service to legit work
@alaraajavamma i rather return this and gey my money back . it makes.no sense to hsve forms to discus problems just to then have to install telegram to discus same problem when it should be done here . makes.no phuckin sense . honestly pisses me off
The problem is that if the issue is with modem stuff and easy GUI toggles does not help someone from the furilabs team needs to have access to your device so it can be fixed and that is not doable on public forums. I do understand you. Team is small but very supportive and they are more than happy to help and fix the issues but they cant be everywhere all the time. I am also trying to help them for example now and I am very happy to do so - after all choosing something else than android or ios is definately going to need some extra steps for users too because the world is duopoly today. But we can do it together, step by step 🙂
