When you order a FLX1 it comes loaded with FuriOS 13.0.0. As of this blog post we are at 13.0.5. The Startup Tour can only do so much and can’t reboot the phone before the tour completes. So what do you do?
- Open up the “Console” app
- Type
sudo suand it will prompt you for a password. Enter your PIN from the Startup Tour - Type
apt update && apt upgrade -y - Repeat step 3 another 2 times
- Finally, do
apt dist-upgradeand reboot
If you are getting a update error then perform the following.
wget https://production.repo.furios.io/pool/main/f/furios-archive-keyring/furios-archive-keyring_2024.11.30%2Bgit20241119211801.0b1c836.trixie.production_all.deb && sudo dpkg -i furios-archive-keyring_2024.11.30%2Bgit20241119211801.0b1c836.trixie.production_all.deb && sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt dist-upgrade
