I have tried multiple different methods,
1. apt install riseup-vpn and start riseup-vpn the initial loading screen never finishes (this is also broken on Librem 5)
so I try the second method,
2. Use OpenVPN directly using
https://github.com/BarbossHack/RiseupVPN-OpenVPN
Top bar in phosh shows it is connected, but can't ping 9.9.9.9 or its gateway ip.
Even now this method works fine on Librem 5. Using this method same ISP also worked fine on Librem 5.
3. I also tried running riseup vpn inside waydroid, but it is stuck on the initial screen.

I saw changelog for 13.0.4 mentions vpn permissions, so I tried riseup vpn in waydroid again, and it is working! Thanks!

When trying to install OpenVPN inside waydroid and using the riseup ovpn config, it gives an error 'Your image does not support VPNServiceAPI sorry :('

Running openvpn from command line worked. So I can manage with this for now, but would be good to fix other methods too.
