I tried flashing FuriOS today in my FLX1 and the flash tool returned the following error (image attached):
Please retry the operation:
1.remove battery and usb cable;
2.press download botton on flash tool;
3.pressing download volume down and plug in usb cable and download without battery.
These were the steps I performed:
- Downloaded the FuriOS image and extracted it
- Downloaded and unpacked the installer.
- Ran the installer using
sudo ./flash_tool
- Clicked on Download button in the flash tool
- Plugged in the phone via USB to the laptop
These steps worked for me earlier (10 days ago), but giving me the above mentioned error now. Please help as my phone has been rendered useless for now.

what distribution are you flashing on? we have had reports that the flash tool fails on some operating systems and configurations. one configuration confirmed to always work by users is a live ubuntu system, it does not have to be installed but it can just run on a usb stick and flash the device, then reboot back to your main system.

@fakeshell I am flashing it on Debian Bookworm and the above mentioned steps worked a few days ago there. I wonder what's the difference.

@fakeshell I tried flashing in a live Ubuntu image. The progress bar showed some progress but threw an error at the end (screenshot attached). Now the phone is in a boot loop. How do I fix that?

@fakeshell I tried again in Bookworm and it worked \o/. As we are on this topic, I think the flashing guide ( https://furilabs.com/flash-guide) needs updating by adding my above mentioned steps there.
