This is both extremely frustrating and a complete surprise as I literally just updated last night.
If this is the case this should be prominently on the website / and or don't push releases.
I did notice some very prominent and somewhat strange changes after updating last night.

I haven't dug too deeply into it yet, but the strange pieces I immediately noticed:
- Upon reboot, the top bar (Time, date, pulldown) was visible, but the actual screen was black. Pulling down the shade and increasing the brightness brought the app drawer/main part of the screen back.
I assume it was unintended and as a result of: Settings daemon: Keep track of the screen brightness to ensure we don't unexpectedly reset brightness to a stale value (e.g. on video playback)
- I also noticed the app drawer background was no longer black, instead taking on a background which I assume is intended.
- Lots of lxc components coming in which was unexpected
I still need to look more into it and test mtp again/get in touch with you if still not working, but probably gonna take some time. Work is busy.

no problem. take your time. most of it seems expected since we improved lots of things, one bug we are aware of is the first one you mentioned about the top bar. the rest of it looks fine
