Are there any plans to have a distributor in the EU?
I am asking because I had to pay around 108 EUR for customs (one FLX1).

No there are not. Even if there was to set up a Germany company will cost 50k EURO and when they buy the FLX1 in bulk the customs still get applied and VAT gets paid.
Then when the phone is sold to consumers the VAT is paid by the consumer. The price will end up being higher. I know this first hand because I've been involved in import export and distribution for a while.
There is no loophole to reduce the tax sadly, unless we can get them manufactured in Europe...but then costs would explode and quality decrease.

Maybe the shop could mention somewhere that customs and VAT will be added by the target country.

I have to think how best to explain this... because every suburb/province address has different costs that change due to many factors including, courier costs (fuel/salary), customs import taxes, postage costs and more. The spreadsheets from our shipping partner are really big and there are no accurate and easy to display costs. I've been trialling a plugin which looks good but its still not perfect... I need time to think on this.
