I'm using Dino from Debian experimental. In audio calls, the other side can't hear anything. I can hear them.

@praveen Issue with Dino is still persisting on the 13.0.6 release (Jan 8, 2025). Good to know that there is an alternative with waydroid, but would be good to have Dino working too.

Monocles Chat via waydroid mic is now working with recent update (it was not working earlier). So I can now make voice (and video) calls! This ticks another important checkbox for me (essential feature when traveling abroad and gsm is very expensive - also useful in remote places with poor gsm signal but has wifi).

Dino is still not working with microphone (lot of echo, unusable)

With the 13.0.9 release of FuriOS, Dino now does pick up audio from the microphone. However, the sound quality is low: choppy audio and lots of background noise and some echo. Same experience with both the dino-im Debian package and the Dino flatpak from Software Store.
So, the original issue from the post seems to be resolved. However, a new issue about the audio quality is still open. If anyone has hints on what can help make progress on this, I am happy to test or provide logs.
