Any way to enable that, say when plugged i to power and phone isnt used it will trigger the backup if time greater than last scheduled backup.
Important would be when delaying or cancelling a running backup it will not ask to try again that day or at least within 3-6hours so the popups dont get annoying.

Hi thank you for the reference and indeed looks like an issue. I will try to install it as a .deb file and see if that makes a difference. If I remember correctly on the Librem 5 the scheduled backup function worked ok.
Confirmed the .deb version of deja-dup works great with scheduled backup functionality.
It would be good then if the .deb version was the default installed version? Maybe devs can make that happen.
