Can't restore, access root, or ssh since my encryption passwords has the british pound symbol "£" in it. The restore menu keyboard does not have that symbol and unfortunately on the restore menu and screen external keyboards plugged into the USB-C port are actually not detected. Also trying to enter it as a unicode string in the password field does not appear to work.
Recommend allowing for external keyboard detection during restore options. Also recommend to add the british pound symbol and another keyboard map OSK page with all the other symbols like the euro symbol.

Another option could be to port or use the phosh osk keyboard and replace all the other keyboards used during encryption unlock, in the phone restore shell, any any other area currently using different OSK implementations.
