Bluetooth pass through like NFC to waydroid

Question

I think bluetooth should be available for android apps like how gps is shared. For now we cannot play next song from NewPipe playlist in car entertainment system. So I have to fall back to a bare metal android phone while driving.

unlike other services where we can provide virtual services, hci needs a multiplexer and it works very differently. there is no working modern public implementation of this either

whenever we get around to it then perhaps it could be implemented but i don't know if this is even possible

Instead of the virtual device, would it be possible to expose the hardware directly to the container? A toggle to use bluetooth either in host or in waydroid

technically yes, but it is not the right way to do this. so i don't think i will go down that route

FreeTube can play playlist if direct playlist url is given (playlist search broken is known issue) and we can skip songs via bluetooth, but audio is faint. Same audio plays well in Firefox, but next don't play next song in playlist, but some other random video (may be recommended by youtube). So still not a good solution to replace newpipe with android phone.
