I just received my US Mobile sim card (using the Dark Star network). I tried to update my APN using their Android Settings ( https://www.usmobile.com/apn-download) but without luck.
The (very nice) support person worked with me and confirmed the FLX1 is at least "partially compatible with the Dark Star network", but I still can't figure it out.
I made sure I am fully up to date (apt update, apt upgrade, and reboot multiple times), but whenever I go to Settings > Network > and disable automatic, I get a timeout so I assume the device cannot see any network.

@avetenebrae, @drakegao This will not answer your question, but I add here my experience:
I too called US Mobile, and they told me the same thing: The FLX1S is only partially compatible. Not "at least partially compatible", but rather, "ONLY partially compatible". I asked what that means. He explained to me that in the US Moble network several bands are used by US Mobile, but the FLX1s does not work on all those bands. So, he said, there will be locations and/or circumstances when US Mobile service will not work on the FLX1s.
@fakeshell I just got the phone 3days ago and also use US Mobile Darkstar. Same problem. 4 Grey bars on the top for a period of time then an exclamation mark occured. Go to the mobile network settings, the network is set to auto but empty list below, manual check will be timeout. US mobile does say is partially compatible. I also asked them if there is a whitelist to add, they said no. Darkstar is under att network.
