we provide repositories in different source files depending on where they go and what they have
debian mirror, FuriOS production, device specific repo for krypton which is the codename for flx1, gst for gstreamer related temporary changes and phone.list for other packages that are waiting to be upstreamed or packages that have a workaround and are awaiting a fix before they get removed and added to production
Well, the problem is for me that i unpacked my new flx1 yesterday and thought that updates were all done with the first boot, and after with the Software App which said Nothing to update or “system up to date”.
Fortunately, i did an apt update and 731 packages were to update. It is ok for me now, but i am thinking at other customers who won’t think to do it and will get stucked with an out of date device (and no android working at all for me) WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO KNOW IT.
it really goes back to packagekit behaving differently to a apt upgrade. this was fixed from 13.0.2 onwards but devices going from the warehouse at the moment have 13.0.0 installed. i will look into a solution for 13.0.0 too.
